Version: BETA Read and ARC re-Read

“You are so fucking perfect. And all fucking mine. MINE.”- Elijah Sinclair, Homecoming

As always, I love reviewing books that I have read but I am also not in the mind-frame to ever spoil them. So while this is a review, it will be a very bare bone review that peaks your interest in picking up not just this book, but other books from Kinsley, and all the other books in the Exodus series.

Most have seen my posts about, "Hi My Name is Elijah Sinclair", floating around Instagram since the release of, Haunted by the Devil. It’s safe to say, even seen it, with the announcement of Sinner and now Homecoming.

Elijah Sinclair is back with the next part of his story, and as always, is a psychopath. Homecoming picks up after the events of Haunted by the Devil, in which we get a deeper look into him and the society. We get to see new reaches of his depravity, and let’s face it - I know depraved.

Kinsley spared no expense when she brought both that amazing dark romance vibe, and mixed it of course, with her own brand of romance and gore.

From medieval aged devices to some new inventions of his own, Elijah spares no expense in showing how well his demon can actually play.

Of course our main lady, Rain is down for her man as always, and dips her own toes into the depravity with him. She is coming into her own, and you have never seen a ride or die such as her.

Tropes:

🦇 Spooky Season
🕯️ Psychopath MMC
🦇 Degradation
🕯️ Extreme G0re
🦇 Extreme Vi0lence
🕯️ Greta
🦇 Cheese Grater
🕯️ Book 2 in Elijah’s Duet
🦇 Loads of TW & 🩸

Note on the Triger Warnings:

  • As always, if you go to pick up this book - Please check your trigger and content warnings. This book is not for the faint of heart. This book is definitely on the PITCH black side and delivers on the "what the jeebus was that?!"

I definitely recommend this book for the readers that like to indulge in horror, gore, splatter and that pitch black dark type of love. Those that enjoy depravity and might wonder what tools are best used for torture.

This book is part of the Exodus series. There are 7 books in this series and each is as dark as the last.

Exodus Series

The range of which this society reaches truly makes you wonder if maybe that family down the street is part of a secret society and if your hometown could be the next playground.

And remember - each of us has a little bit of Elijah Sinclair lurking beneath the skin.
